Eligibility criteria for KPMG hiring Data Analyst
- Courses and Discipline: Full-time graduates from Btech in any Branch are eligible.
- Percentage: Minimum aggregate (aggregate of all subjects in all semesters) of 50% or above or equivalent CGPA in each of ‘Class 10th, Class 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation which includes successful completion of final year/semester.
- Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: Up to 1 pending or active backlog/arrear/ATKT is permit at the time of appearing for the interview process. If select, no pending backlogs/arrears/ATKT will be permitted at the time of joining. All pending backlogs/arrears/ATKT should be cleared within the stipulated course duration.
- Extended Education: No extend education would be allow. Candidates should have completed the course in the stipulated course duration.
- Gap/Break in education: It is mandatory for students to declare gaps in education, if any in Application Form. The overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until highest qualification. Relevant document proof, as applicable, will be check for gaps in education.
- Age: Minimum age – 18 years and Maximum age – 28 years.
- Work Experience: The role is for ‘Entry Level Requirement’. However, prior work experience, if any is require to be mandatorily declared by the candidate in the Application Form. Data Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.
- Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
- Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into nontechnical, lay terms.
- High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
- Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
- Managing users and user roles.
- Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
- Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
- Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
- Helping develop reports and analyses.
- Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
- Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
- Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
- Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
- Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
- Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
- Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
- Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
